How do I go about organising my own event?

You should inform the council of your community clean up, tell them how much equipment you need and when for. They will arrange drop off and collection with you. Organise this by entering your event details on the link below: https://www.salford.gov.uk/bins-and-recycling/community-clean-ups/ You will need bin bags and litter picks, bag hoops are optional. Let the council know if the pick up point for the bags and equipment is different to the drop off location. Please let us know if you have any issues and we would be happy to help. We always advise avoiding dog poop not in bags, broken glass and any needles. All these should be reported to the council to dispose of correctly. Or you could ask us to post an event on the Facebook page!
